Shopify stores built for industrial and B2B catalogues
I build and run Shopify stores for Canadian distributors, manufacturers and suppliers with hundreds or thousands of technical products. That means clean product data, spec tables, quote forms and inventory that stays in sync. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, working with clients remotely.
Packages
Large technical catalogues
Catalogue structure, spec tables, metafields and clean product data for equipment and industrial suppliers.
Multilingual & multi-market stores
Stores set up in more than one language, with each version built to be found in search.
Inventory & system integrations
Products and stock kept in sync between Shopify and the inventory systems behind them.
Quote & dealer inquiry forms
Lead capture for B2B buyers, for clients from equipment distribution to construction and security.
Who it's for
For businesses that sell technical products
M Creative Studio is an Edmonton-based Shopify development studio run by Melissa, a full-stack developer, for businesses with large technical catalogues. If your products come with spec sheets, part numbers and long buying cycles, a template store won't cut it. I work with:
Distributors
Large catalogues from many suppliers that need to be organized, searchable and easy to keep up to date.
Equipment dealers
Machines, parts and accessories with specs, compatibility and dealer enquiries.
Manufacturers
Product lines that need clear specs, documentation and a way for trade buyers to ask for a quote.
Trade suppliers
Businesses selling to contractors and other companies, often with wholesale pricing or accounts.
What I build
Everything a catalogue store needs to work
01
Catalogue stores
Shopify design & development →Shopify stores built around hundreds or thousands of products, with collections, filters and search that make sense to your buyers.
02
Spec tables and product templates
Catalogue development →Product pages that show specs, documents and compatibility clearly, set up so your team can update them without a developer.
03
Request-a-quote
Quote forms and dealer enquiries for products you don't sell at a fixed price online.
04
Multilingual stores
English, French and other languages, set up properly so each version can be found in search.
05
Inventory and ERP sync
Keeping products, stock and pricing matched between Shopify and the system your business already runs on.
06
Migrations
SEO & GEO search visibility →Moving an existing catalogue to Shopify without losing your product data or your Google rankings.
How it works
A clear process, start to finish
01
Discovery
We talk through your products, your current store and what you need it to do, so the scope is clear from the start.
02
Plan
We agree on the site structure, product data, integrations, scope and quote before any build starts.
03
Build
I build the store, set up the catalogue and add the custom features you need, with check-ins along the way.
04
Launch and support
We test everything, launch, and then I can stay on monthly to keep the store running well.
