Service Terms

By purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.

These terms apply to the fixed-price Shopify services sold by M Creative Studio, such as B2B Wholesale Setup, Catalogue SEO Project, Catalogue Care (Monthly), Google Merchant Center & Shopping Feed Setup, and Spec Sheet & Data Sheet PDF Design. They work alongside our general Terms of Service. If the two differ, these Service Terms apply to services.

What's included

The scope of each service is what is written on the product page at the time you purchase it. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately, and no extra work is started without your written approval.

Consultation

Each service includes one 60-minute video consultation. The booking link is sent by email after purchase, along with your intake form. Clients in the Edmonton area can choose an in-person meeting instead. The consultation is available only to clients who have purchased a service.

Getting started

  • After purchase, please complete the intake form and book your consultation using the links in your order confirmation email. We reply to messages within one business day.
  • Your work is scheduled once we have your completed intake form and the access we need.
  • Please give us access through a Shopify collaborator or staff account, or the equivalent for other platforms. Never send us your passwords. You can remove our access at any time once the work is complete.

Timelines

Timelines are estimates and begin once your intake is complete. If information, files, access or approvals arrive late, delivery dates move by the same amount.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate product information, specifications and pricing.
  • Supply the files, images and logos needed for the work.
  • Review and approve work within a reasonable time.
  • Confirm you own or have the right to use any content you give us.

Revisions

Each service includes one round of revisions within the stated scope, unless the product page says otherwise. For example, Spec Sheet & Data Sheet PDF Design includes one round on the template and one on the finished sheets. Further changes are quoted separately.

Payment and refunds

  • Services are paid in full at purchase.
  • If you cancel before work starts, you are refunded the amount paid, minus any time already spent on your project.
  • Once work has been delivered, it is not refundable.
  • If we are unable to deliver the service, you receive a full refund.

Catalogue Care (Monthly)

  • Catalogue Care is billed monthly through Shopify Subscriptions.
  • You can cancel anytime before your next billing date from your customer account or by contacting us. Cancelling stops future charges; the current month is not refunded.
  • Each plan includes the monthly hours shown on the product page. Unused hours do not roll over.
  • Work that would exceed your plan's hours is estimated in writing first.

Ownership

Once your service is paid for, you own the deliverables we create for you. We will only show non-confidential work in our portfolio with your permission.

Limitations

  • We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, sales, or approval by Google or any other platform.
  • We are not responsible for problems caused by third-party apps, themes, or changes made by Shopify, Google or other platforms.
  • Our total liability for any service is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
