Refund policy

M Creative Studio is a trade name of MC Digital Agency ("we", "us", "our"). This policy applies to digital products purchased through mcreativestudio.ca. Professional services are governed by your signed proposal and our Terms of Service.

Digital products — all sales final

We sell digital files that are delivered instantly. Nothing is shipped, and nothing can be returned. Once a file has been delivered we have no way to verify it has been deleted, so all sales are final and non-refundable except as described below.

Please review the product description, preview images, and stated requirements carefully before you buy.

Exception — technical defect

We will always fix a genuine technical problem. You are eligible if all of the following apply:

  • You contact us within 14 days of purchase;
  • The product does not function as described when used as intended on a supported platform;
  • You provide screenshots or enough detail for us to reproduce the issue; and
  • You give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.

We will first attempt a fix or a replacement file. If we cannot resolve the defect within a reasonable period, we will issue a full refund.

What is not eligible for a refund

  • Change of mind, or no longer wanting the product
  • Purchasing the wrong item without checking the description
  • Incompatibility with software, a platform, or a subscription plan whose requirements were stated on the product page
  • Difficulty using the product, or not having the time or skill to implement it
  • Finding a similar product elsewhere or at a lower price
  • Not achieving a particular business result
  • Third-party costs such as apps, fonts, stock imagery, or subscriptions
  • Problems caused by your own modifications to the files
  • Requests made more than 14 days after purchase

Duplicate or accidental purchases

If you bought the same item twice or checked out by mistake, contact us within 7 days. Where the file has not been downloaded, we will refund in full.

EU and UK customers

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, that right is lost once the download begins, provided you expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right at checkout. Where that consent was not obtained, your statutory withdrawal right is unaffected by this policy.

Professional services

Services are governed by your signed proposal or statement of work. In summary:

  • Deposits are non-refundable. They reserve capacity and cover work already commenced.
  • Work completed to the date of cancellation is billable, whether or not it has been delivered.
  • Where a project is cancelled mid-engagement, we invoice for completed work and refund any unused balance.
  • Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf — advertising spend, apps, licences, stock imagery — are not refundable.
  • We do not issue refunds on the basis of business results not achieved. We control the quality and effort of our work, not platform algorithms or market conditions.

How to request a refund

Email melissa@mcreativestudio.ca with your order number, the product or project name, and a description of the issue including screenshots where relevant. We respond within 3 business days.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Most issues are resolved in a single email. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first is a breach of these terms; we will contest it using our delivery and download records, and we reserve the right to terminate your licence and decline future orders.
